THE BAVARIAN CROSS
Our Bavarian Cross’ rustic details are carved into western red cedar or cypress, both suitable for outdoor exposure. With yearly care, you can maintain the new wood appearance or let it age gracefully to a weathered silver cedar color. The resin corpus of Our Lord is imported from Italy. Each shrine is slightly unique as the cedar can vary from light yellow to deep red, One of our largest shrines, the Bavarian Cross, is based on the style of shrines found in several areas of Europe, most notably in the Bavarian state of Germany. The cross and roof are completely assembled and ready to mount into the ground bracket, which is included. The corpus is 23” tall. Mounting hardware is included. The top of the installed shrine will be approximately 8 ft above the ground level. Comes with a heavy duty powder coated finished ground bracket of heavy plate structural steel and 3/4" diameter bolts.

THE VILLA SHRINE CROSS
Our Villa Shrine Cross’ rustic details are carved into western red cedar or cypress, suitable for outdoor exposure. This outdoor Garden Crucifix Shrine stands 8 feet tall from ground to top of roof. Jesus figure is made of quality outdoor fiberglass and is 3 feet tall. The Shrine is made completely of Western Red Cedar or cypress, fully doweled with no screws in the shrine except for the large bolts to attach Jesus and to attach the shrine to the ground bracket. Comes with a heavy duty powder coated finished ground bracket of heavy plate structural steel and 3/4" diameter bolts.
Installation should be typical under most conditions since the cross and roof are fully assembled and ready to install on the bracket., All bolt holes are pre-drilled, and all bolts are supplied. Complete detailed installation and maintenance instructions are provided.
The Villa Shrine’s main post is a 6X6 Cedar/cypress timber. The roof’s shingle appearance is carved directly into the roof as a relief carving. All wood is solid timber, no fillers, no nails, no screws. Other carvings can be added for an extra fee upon request.

Shipping cost: This crucifix is made to order. Shipping is extra and must be arranged or picked up from our southern Indiana wood shop. This is not a mailable item. It can be moved easily using a full size pickup truck (perhaps tail gate down). Pick up at our Indiana location is free if no crating is required, please contact us.
